About Janine Getler
Principal Janine Getler has been successfully practicing Real Estate and Construction law since 1991. She received her Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School, Brooklyn, New York, where she worked as a research assistance, and was also honored with the American Jurisprudence Awards for Legal Writing I and II. Following graduation, Janine gained experience working as a Counsel for Zucker, Goldberg & Ackerman, and as a General Council for HRH Construction LLC.
In 2009, after gaining a strong legal background, Janine Getler opened her own practice, called Getler, Gomes & Sutton PC. She remains at the law firm today, where she successfully represents commercial and residential real estate clients.
Janine Getler also maintains a large philanthropic presence through her professional work. She has been on the Bergen County Habitat for Humanity board of directors since 1991, and remains in the position today. Additionally, she enjoys providing pro bono counsel for the board in times of necessity. Other board positions that Janine has held include SB One Bank, Altrusa International affiliate, and the Rockland County Pride Center.
